Funmilola ‘Ajike’ Adeseun is a multi-disciplinary artist with a distinctive layered style.

Toronto-based, she draws on 34 years of architectural experience in Nigeria to weave together her worlds of art and architecture through drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Her practice centers on exploring the visible and invisible structures that shape identity, memory, belonging, and place through visual narratives and spatial thinking. She crafts a world and legacy built on joy—not just as a fleeting personal emotion, but as a necessary way of being—aiming first to delight, and then to motivate.
